edelkrone SliderONE Camera Slider Overview

A small amount of movement can go a long way to bringing a sense of depth to your shots. It is with this thought in mind that edelkrone built the SliderONE, a camera slider that trims excess length to deliver an ultra-compact option that fits into virtually any camera bag, so it's always there when you need it. The slider features a belt-driven design for smooth operation and offers 6" of camera travel, making it ideal for close-ups, product shots, or any time where subtle movement is required.

Though small in stature, the SliderONE supports loads up to 20 lb, making it ready for use with a wide range of cameras, from a compact mirrorless to a large digital cinema camera. A friction adjustment wheel lets you dial in the amount of resistance for each slide, with a second wheel used to securely lock the camera in place. Additionally, the slider makes an ideal partner for the separately-available FlexTilt head, together creating a compact and versatile slider solution.

question

Can articulating arms be attached to the slider. I saw a photo where a zoom recorder seems to be attached underneath somehow?
Asked by: William
Not sure about the zoom recorder under the slider. I don't think that would work. As for articulating arms. Edelkrone has a FlexTilt 2 head (could be seen as an articulating arm) that mounts between the slider and camera. Very useful feature. The Pro version comes with a motion control motor that mounts underneath it all. I hope that helps.

Asked by: John
Yes. Helps to balance and angle the camera. But adds some extra weight.

question

How loud are the motors on this? Are they loud enough to be picked up by a camera mic?
Asked by: Dennis
There are no motors on this slider. You have to purchase the separate motion module which does have a self noise that can be picked up by the camera mic.

question

I can used it with trpode with 6d ii and 24 70?
Asked by: Franky M.
I think you can definitely use the 6d with a 24-70. I use gh4 with the metabones adapter and a 24-70 tamron g2 on a sirui x10 ball head and works fine.

question

Hi I wondered what the belt of the edelkrone sliderOne is made from is it leather or is it some other material? Thanks Alex
Asked by: Anonymous
it is some kind of rubber material. it is not leather. have been using the Slider one for about 6 months now, if you are concerned about durability, I wouldn't, I think its pretty solid and durable.

question

Which application controls the slider and camera?
Asked by: Anonymous
What is shown here is just the Slider, there is a motion module that can be added and that can be controlled using the Edelkrone Slider App
