FeelWorld FW759 Overview

The FW759 7" IPS HDMI 4K On-Camera Monitor with Sunshade and HDMI Lock from FeelWorld uses an IPS panel that provides a brightness output up to 400 cd/m² and an 800:1 color contrast ratio. Wide viewing angle of 178 x 178° allows you to see accurate, consistent, and bright images from virtually any angle. A wide color gamut and 1280 x 800 resolution ensure that the monitor produces precise color restoration, and it supports up to DCI/UHD 4K video input via HDMI. The FW759 features multiple input options like HDMI and AV, and supports most DSLRs and camcorders.

The monitor offers a peaking focus assist function. The peaking filter aids you in obtaining the sharpest possible picture, which is most effective in bright light conditions. The included folding sun hood can be quickly clipped on to block out unwanted glare and reflections from the sun.

Supports 5D II mode, check field (red, green, blue, mono) function, and pixel-to-pixel function.
Supports center marker and safe marker (80%, 85%, 90%, 93%, 96%, 2.35:1).
Supports image flipping (horizontal, vertical, HV) and image freezing.
HDMI lock to avoid stress on the cable.
Slim, <1" thick design.
Portable light compatible with Steadicam, DSLR rig, camcorder kit, handheld stabilizer, video camera crane.
Please note, the monitor incorporates a Sony L-series type battery plate; however, it does not come with either a battery or power supply. You will need to source a battery or power supply yourself to use the monitor.

Some reviews say it feels like cheap plastic, I think it’s pretty decent for the price. The monitor came in as scheduled despite bad weather. I am not a professional, this is my first monitor for my A7ii. I am very pleased with the monitor and can’t wait to use it at family gatherings. Thanks!

This monitor is priced great for what it can do. The image was better than i expected. I didn't know if 7 inches was going to be life changing vs the LCD but, it indeed was. It's much easier to frame my scene. I shoot in 4k 10bit 422 and the Feelworld scales things down from live view and HDMI playback. The focus peaking is as good as what i have on the Lumix S5. And it runs a very long time on a single FP 750. I bought 2 of these monitors and i'm very happy with them.

Yes. The following unit will work but the proper cable is needed in order to do so. A RCA to HDMI Converter is needed in order to do so.

I am having trouble getting my Canon T5i to fill the monitor screen. The best I am able to get is around app. 5.5 inch diagonal with a gray border around it. Can anyone help?

This monitor looks identical to the Avtec XHD070. The only difference I see is the price and Avtec comes with battery plates. First, I'm I correct and secondly, if I go with this one, does B&H sell the battery plates?

The differences we find is the Avtec not only comes with the three plates, it also comes with a power adapter with 4 international plugs. Unfortunately, we do not have the plates for the FeelWorld FW759 7 listed as for sale.

Between the Nikon 7500 and this monitor you will need https://bhpho.to/2DP3N16 to send video signal and one is included in the FeelWorld kit, but no other tethering cables are provided.
