    Kenko A-EXTUBEDG-SEF reviews

DG Extension Tube Set for Full-Frame Sony E-Mount is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does What It Says On The Tin These tube extensions work well with the Sony A7RII to bring small objects into close focus. The electronics from the lens work as normal, including focus, and the image is nicely magnified. Minor distortion and vignetting was noticeable, but the images are usable in both still and video modes. Construction quality was OK, though the fitting to the camera was a little less tight than a normal lens, but it clicks into position. If you need a close up option for your existing Sony lens collection, this does the job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works The tubes attach firmly to the camera and lens, but retain some axial play (twist) even when locked. This does not affect the lens alignment, but makes the fit feel cheaper than expected given their cost. All in all, they work very well, but extension tubes are inconvenient to use by their nature, so they don't really replace a dedicated macro lens. Autofocus doesn't like certain focal length/extension combinations but there are sweetspots where it will still work quickly and accurately, especially at narrower apertures. If you have time to set up a shot the extension rings are more than good enough. If you want to be able to take spontaneous macro shots of bugs or whatever you might need something more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Real good and a joy to use. Only had these for the day but i got to say, they feel really high quality and get the job done with no hassle. I was able to use full auto focus including EYE AF and got no connectivity issues with even the two rings stacked, using my Sony FE 85 f/1.8 (incredible results so far with that lens!). Other reviews mention the rings have a bit of play which is true but i have to say, they are real easy and smooth to attach and detach and actually give a nice feeling of high quality. Also, they look great and match the Sony aesthetic quite well. Wish they came with caps and/or a pouch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kensko extension Tubes for Sony FF E mount These seem to be effective extension tubes and work fine with my Sony a7rII. I've only had a chance to try them out with the Batis 25 and Sony 35 f1.4. The Batis can focus to 7 by itself and with the extension tube this close min focus has an interesting effect. The threads are not as smooth as other Kenko extension tubes I've used but not a deal breaker at all. Perhaps best of all is the price compared to the Sony extension tubes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy to own this product! I was looking for a set that had well built and protected metal parts and gold-contacts that do not get stuck while mounting the lens. This ring, Made in Japan, satisfied all my needs. 5 stars could be given if made by SONY.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do the Job Well I was getting ready to buy the 90mm macro, but decided to try these. The extra length would be useful sometimes, but the ease of carrying the tubes is a big advantage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Allows 90mm amount macro to shoot closer up. Kendo has done a good job of transmitting image control signals from camera. Solid build.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The fit is too loose The extension tubes do their job and they are well built but the fit of the lenses is to loose. Depending on the focal length of the lense, it wobbles quite a bit. To expensive for that.
