    Ricoh TE-1 reviews

TE-1 Extension Adapter is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's fine. What is there to say? It's a pole, that telescopes. Not that big of a deal and probably not worth almost $30. I (wrongly) assumed it would screw right into the bottom of my Theta SC, but didn't read close enough. This has a 3/8 male screw post on top, so won't jive with a 1/4 20 female receiver. Of course there is a $5 adapter, but ... annoying to have to spend more money to get this to work. I blame myself for not doing my homework close enough before buying, but also assume when B&H website recommends an item be bought with another item, it 'oughtta actually work (without having to navigate to find the adapter). My fault, but annoying situation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what you need! I had kludged together an extension adapter using a 3 bolt through the base of a Manfrotto tripod QR plate, a few washers and two wing nuts. Works well, but is klunky, looks amateur, but most importantly it was visible in the imagery. Bought this adapter and am using it while I type this. Clean, elegant and functional. If you need to tether your Ricoh ThetaS while shooting, or any other small body camera, this accessory does the job and does it elegantly. Nicely machined and looks clean and smooth on top of a light stand. Only wish it came in black, but not worth taking a star away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lifesaver for long shoots I would call this a extreme necessity to add external power to keep the Theta rolling when you are running around and grabbing a LOT of 360 content. It allows you to access the micro-usb port to keep it going. NOW if they would allow for a memory card as opposed to internal memory, you can keep shooting after changing cards.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's an expensive metal screw. I plug one end to my camera, I plug the other end to my tripod. In total, this thing cost me around $70 CAD. Eh
