10TB IronWolf 7200 rpm SATA III 3.5" Internal NAS HDD is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good! This is my second purchase (bought at separate times) 10TB Ironwolf HDD for my QNAP NAS to test out my simple RAID 1 set up. In the near future I will be purchasing a larger 6 or 8 Bay NAS and fill it with these 10TB Ironwolf 7200 drives. I'm not sure why my QNAP had to rebuild 4TB of data 2 days after it was built, the only thing I can think of is that I have been having 'brown-outs with my power and the NAS then restarts and gives me warnings of improper shut downs. So far, the NAS have not had any errors when scanned for corruptions from power loss. Only time will tell how this drives will be but for now they are spinning 24/7 in my NAS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good Performance and quality is good, but one of disk appear one bad sector alert when I plug into the NAS (maybe mis-alert, because after I execute S.M.A.R.T extended test, and checking C5, C6 etc. there is no issue, I will keep in post if there is update).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so goof Have used these for 4 weeks. Out of a batch of 24, 1 DOA. B&H replaced of course but annoying to deal with. Performance good, equal to RED drives from WD. Louder than some other NAS rated drives. Being used in Synology Rackstation product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for RAID, not for Noise The drives perform well in my 5 Drive RAID 5 setup, but they are significantly louder than my previous 6TB WD Red drives. I don't have WD 10TB's to compare to, so maybe its a difference of the platter sizes, but I would usually only hear my previous drives if I was doing a lot of read and write operations and stood within 5'. With these, a single machine doing a TimeMachine backup over the network, I can hear them grinding away from about 10'. So they are great for performance, but if noise is a factor, try something else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again I have four of these drives in production in a Synology NAS. So far they have performed very well. I have had no issues. Pros: - Massive amount of storage in a small space Cons: - These drives are fairly new so they are still a little pricey right now

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of storage in a single drive! I'm using 10 of these drives in a Synology DS3615xs. Although I've only been using them for a few months, they are all working great, and I've had no issues so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, fast so far but we'll see long term So far so good. Formatted in RAID0. Will see how they are working in 4-5 years.
