Why do you offer Q&A, if you're just going to tell everyone to contact customer service, my question was simple, is there a built in crossover or do you recommend an external crossover.

Asked by: Jeremiah 1
Hello again Jeremiah. To follow up, the PRX818XLF is designed to be used with tops from the PRX800 family. If you are using other PRX800 speakers the need for a separate crossover is not necessary. If you are using the PRX818XLF with speakers from another brand, then you may find a crossover helpful.

If this is supposed to be a 1500 amplifier, why does the back panel state 300w?

Asked by: Director Jeff
Probably the unit is 300 watts rms (continuous power) Do not pay attention to the total watts of output as advertised. That is for short burst of power for just about 2 to 3 seconds. The total watts means nothing. Look only at the RMS rating. It is the only thing that matters.
