The XDJ-700 from Pioneer is a high-performance, rekordbox-compatible, digital deck in a compact form that utilizes a host of features from its larger brethren the XDJ-1000. The DJ deck features a 7" full color high resolution touch panel display for access and control over multiple parameters, including browsing, wave and wave zoom, keyword search, quantize, and slip mode.
The XDJ-700 is compatible with Mac/PC, iOS, Android, and USB storage devices including flash drives. The Pro DJ Link allows up to four decks to be connected via the included Ethernet cable allowing for network compatibility and wireless control when connected to an optional wireless router. Additional features include beat count and phase meter, and beat sync. The XDJ-700 ships with a power cord, AC adapter, Ethernet cable, and a stereo RCA cable.

The XDJ-700 ... Does this media player have a key lock (for the pitch fader)? If I reduce the speed, can I get two options: pitch changes and pitch remains unchanged?
There are three controls that adjust the playing speed and a way to control the pitch. A Tempo button allows you to select the tempo playing speed adjustment range and choose from +/-6, +/-10, +/-16, or Wide ranges. A Tempo slider is used to adjust the track playing speed. It is possible to adjust the playing speed without changing the pitch using the Master Tempo button. If a "beginner" DJ buys the XDJ-700 (first media player) and the DJM-450 but not the additional XDJ-700 (second media player), can the mixing of music still be done?
In order to mix between two audio sources, you would need two media players attached to the DJM-450. So a second media player would be required.

This device is MIDI capable. This unit can control DJ software that excepts MIDI devices, allowing you to control the playback, and manipulation of the audio track playing in the software.

Regarding a pair of XDJ-700s and a DJM-450 mixer, is there a case in which all three items can be transported, or would the items need to be transported in separate "containers?" Please include a SKU number for each scenario.
The best option for safely transporting two of the Pioneer DJ XDJ-700 - Compact Digital Deck - rekordbox Compatible along with the DJM-450 would be the Pioneer FLT-450SYS.

I noticed that the XDJ-700 has a removable stand. If the removable stand is removed, what are the dimensions of the XDJ-700. I believe the specs provided by BH include the removable stand. Also, which soft case would snugly fit the XDJ-700 when the removable stand is removed?
