Offering an incredibly wide field of view while maintaining a rectilinear design, the Heliar-Hyper Wide 10mm f/5.6 Aspherical Lens from Voigtlander is designed for 35mm film and full-frame digital M-mount cameras, and features an updated Heliar design to limit distortion and maintain consistent sharpness and illumination to suit mirrorless camera designs. Two aspherical elements are employed in the 13 elements, 10 groups optical design to control spherical aberrations and distortions throughout the aperture range. The lens also uses a manual focus design to permit fine-tuned control over focus placement, with a minimum focusing distance of 1.6', and a built-in petal-style lens hood is also featured to reduce flare and ghosting, as well as protect the front lens element.

Voigtlander Heliar-Hyper Wide 10mm f/5.6 Asph... Overview
Incredibly wide-angle 10mm f/5.6 lens provides a 130° angle of view and is compatible with full-frame digital and 35mm film M-mount cameras.
Rectilinear (non-fisheye) design maintains straight lines toward the periphery of the frame for a more realistic portrayal of architectural and other geometrically complex subjects.
Updated Heliar optical design helps to maintain consistent peripheral illumination, eliminate color fringing, and reduce distortion; making it ideal for use with mirrorless digital cameras.
Two aspherical elements are featured in the optical design to control spherical aberrations and improve clarity, sharpness, and resolution.
Manual focus design permits smooth, refined control along with a minimum focusing distance of 1.6'.
Built-in, non-removable lens hood helps to prevent lens flare and ghosting for increased contrast and color fidelity when working in strongly lit conditions.
Ten-blade diaphragm contributes to a smooth quality of bokeh.

Better than the E-mount 10mm

Maybe it's the camera but l like the Voigtlander M-mount 10mm for the Leica M11P better than the E-mount 10mm for the Sony A7CR despite the flexibility (viewable angles) of the Sony monitor.
The Just-Right Wide-angle

This lens is as wide as it gets, before you enter into fisheye territory. Other wide-angles, like the 18mm, still leave some wanting more sweep. True, there are wider lenses, but I feel their application is limited. With the 10mm Voigtlander, one still gets rectilinear performance. The heightened perspective looks amazing.

Does the Voigtlander 10mm VM have no rangefinder ...
Does the Voigtlander 10mm VM have no rangefinder coupling, making it zone-focus only on a Leica M6?
The Voigtlander Heliar-Hyper Wide 10mm f/5.6 Aspherical Lens does not have rangefinder coupling, so it would need to be zone focused on the Leica M6.

Will this Lens mount properly on my Nikon Z6 and ...
Will this Lens mount properly on my Nikon Z6 and provide Infinity Focus if I use it with either a Vello or a Novoflex Lens Adapter designed for ‘M’ Mount to Nikon Z Mount? I don’t care about any lens automation so long as I can use Aperture Priority metering and use the Nikon Z Non CPU Menu setting to assign this lens to the camera with one of these Adapters.
yes the lens will work fine with the adapters.

I see that Novoflex also makes an adapter M to Canon RF adapter. In your best estimation, would I get the full 10 mm out of this when matched up with the Canon R or R6? I know everything is manual from there, but I see some amazing architectural images shot with this lens.
The Novoflex Leica M Lens to Canon RF-Mount Camera Adapter, B&H # NOEOSRLEM, would allow you to connect the Voigtlander Heliar-Hyper Wide 10mm f/5.6 Aspherical Lens to the Canon EOS R Mirrorless Digital Camera. There would be no effect to the lens' focal length when using the above lens adapter. As such, as the Voigtlander Heliar-Hyper Wide 10mm f/5.6 Aspherical Lens is designed for use on full-frame sensors, it would be a 10mm lens when used on the Canon EOS R Mirrorless Digital Camera or the Canon EOS R6 Mirrorless Digital Camera.

Is it possible to purchase a replacement front lens cap, or is there a 3rd party option that fits?
We don't carry a stock cap, you can most likely use a 70mm push on cap,

I haven't used any ultra wide lenses before, so I might be entirely wrong. Looking at the lens front, there's a petal lens hood. If the lens hood is placed in such a way that it won't get in the way, wouldn't it be possible to maybe reduce the size of the hood and instead place a filter thread like 77mm that would be placed within the boundaries of the lens hood?
Putting a filter close to the front element would cause vignetting, especially with such a wide angle lens.
