The BlackRapid Sport Breathe Camera Strap is designed to be worn across a right-handed user's body, draped from the left shoulder to the right hip. A connected camera can then rest upside-down along the hip so that it can be quickly raised for use. Incorporating a generously-sized, moisture-wicking shoulder pad, this strap is built for the sport or adventure photographer who is carrying one camera and intends to move quickly whether on flat or rugged terrain.

The Sport Breathe further stabilizes the attached camera when used with its included BlackRapid Brad Breathe Stabilizing Strap. The Brad Breathe secures this strap under the user's left shoulder and prevents the attached camera from twisting as it rests along one's right side. When camera movement along the side is less of a concern, the Brad Breathe is easy to remove. For left-handed photographers, the Sport Left Breathe Camera Strap can be slung over the right shoulder, and includes a Brad Breathe as well.

To attach to a camera or a lens, the BlackRapid Sport Breathe Camera Strap features a durable, brass and zinc-alloy CR-3 ConnectR locking carabiner. An included BlackRapid FR-5 FastenR Breathe creates a connection point using a camera or lens's 1/4"-20 tripod mount. The FR-5 FastenR Breathe has a large, integrated D-ring for easy use with BlackRapid straps that utilize a CR-3 ConnectR.

The length of this strap is adjustable from 36.0 to 65.7" and its nylon webbing measures up to 1.0" wide. Spring-loaded bumper locks that can be slid up and down the length of the strap's webbing make it especially easy to limit excess camera movement along the length of the Sport Breathe. When multiple cameras or lenses need to be carried, a separately-available BlackRapid CoupleR Strap allows a BlackRapid Sport-series camera strap to be joined with a second camera strap, that is also compatible with a CoupleR, to create a functional double-camera harness.

A nylon pouch is included for storage and transport, as well as a plastic BlackRapid Lockstar Breathe Carabiner Protector, which is compatible with BlackRapid straps that feature a CR-3 ConnectR locking carabiner. By folding over a CR-3 ConnectR, the Lockstar Breathe prevents unintentional user contact with a CR-3 ConnectR that could cause it to accidentally unlock. Additionally, it helps to block the metal surface of a CR-3 ConnectR from scratching a connected camera or lens.

Sport Breathe Camera Strap is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 62.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Strap, But needs improvement The over the shoulder part of this strap is very comfortable. Used it on hikes with D800 with 70-200 lens. Takes the pressure off of shoulder. BUT, the smaller strap that secures under the arm, needs improvement. This is supposed to be an updated version of the older under the arm stabilizing strap. This newer version kept unfastening at the hook end. The buckle end works great. The hook should be replaced with a more secure attachment. After I purchased this strap, I then purchased the older version add on under arm strap and then replaced the underarm one that came with the strap. That fixed the problem, but it costed another $17.00.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Backward progress I am sorry to let you know that your new, 'improved' 'Sport Breathe' is, imho, a step backward from the original product. In fact the buckle of the underarm stabilizer keeps falling out of the strap and although I have tried to tighten it with pliers but, in spite of the narrower gap, it kept falling out. Finally I had to secure it with a piece of tape (see attached picture) to prevent this from happening - not a very elegant solution but it works. If you have a better advice how to circumvent this design flaw, I am listening. Best regards Andre

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nearly didn't buy it due to reading some reviews I don't write review often but do read them. I nearly did not buy this for my Canon 7D Mk II because of reading some of the negative reviews. I decided to go for it anyway and glad I did, Honestly, I don't understand what some others were talking about. Out of the box this is terrific. The only (slight) confusion I had was figuring out how to wear it as the instructions were a little hard to follow. however after a couple times practising on/off my body it's VERY EASY. As for the functionality, it's exactly as the video (Mfr website). This is SO MUCH better than the strap supplied by Canon. Very comfortable over the shoulder. I highly recommend this strap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sport Breathe Strap. This is a very comfortable strap and keeps the lens/camera combination in place at the hip area. Very little movement and easy to pull up camera to shoot. There is also no slippage on the shoulder. The weight balance is also optimal, for me. I mainly use the strap with Nikon camera and the 70-200mm F2.8 E FL lens. I purchased a RRS clamp, which makes attachment to the lens foot or camera L Plate very easy and practical should I use another camera/lens. The first time I used the strap I unfortunately lost the Brad Strap that fits under the shoulder. The aluminum hook of this particular item was loose. I contacted BlackRapid and they are sending me a replacement Brad Strap. Great Customer Service! Thank you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Underarm strap falls off I'd give this strap a 5 if it weren't for the knucklehead design of the underarm strap! It keeps coming off! I've only used this strap a few times and each time, the underarm strap has strayed away and I've had to look for it. I'm using a zip tie now to keep it in place. Sad! My other Blackrapid strap didn't have this problem. It is similar as the Sport but it can be used either as a double camera strap or a single camera strap. The second camera strap is designed to be removable with the underarm strap taking the same slot when only using one camera. It uses snap-in side-release buckles similar to the other end of the Sport underarm strap. No problems with that approach! Why not do the same here with the Sport strap???

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great strap. Deeply flawed I have taken this strap all over the U.S., Europe, and Africa. More than 30 years of shooting and this is the best strap I have ever used. Perfect for actively climbing rocks in the desert or queit street shooting in a crowded souq, it's super comfortable and ensures your camera is always out of the way but ready in an instant. The sliding locks allow you to put the camera exactly where you need it - to your side when walking about, or slightly behind when clambering around a pyramid. The breathable mesh really does its job - I don't recall ever sweating with this on - even in 100+ degree desert heat. But this strap is deeply flawed. The whole system rests on the secondary underarm strap to keep it in place. And that secondary strap is only connected on one end by an open hook which is constantly slipping out of it's loop and disconnecting the underarm strap from the primary (the other end is a standard buckle). To keep the underarm strap from falling out of its loop while putting the strap on requires a maneuver similar to pulling the last piece from a leaning Jenga pile. And like the Jenga pile, more than half the time it's all going to collapse on the floor. So, if it's all this trouble, why not just leave the under arm strap off? Because without it in place the main strap will slip behind your shoulder, unbalancing the entire affair, leaving your camera to slip all over the place and negating 90% of the benefit this strap brings to the table. When everything is hooked up and properly secured, this thing is an absolute joy. Getting and keeping it that way, not so much. BlackRapid, it would be so easy for you to fix this problem - replace the clip with a proper buckle. Since the underarm strap is not permanently connected at one end, it's only a matter of time before I'm going to lose it. And then the entire affair will need to be replaced. In the meantime, a carefully threaded zip tie is holding things in place. But it really doesn't seem right that I should have to jury rig a $75 strap to work correctly. But there it is. There may be some logic behind this baffling design flaw, but I'll be darned if I can figure out what it is. Buy it. Zip tie it. You'll love it. (BlackRapid, please fix this!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded expectation My first outing with the strap was two full days of carrying a Nikon combo D500 with 200-500mm on national park trails, with frequent car travel between sites. The heavy rig carried easily and securely and I had no discomfort during or at the end of the day. The carabiner-styled clip made for a quick camera removal during the car rides. I was easily able to carry binoculars slung across my opposite shoulder, with it's straps over the BR strap. For birding, this allowed me easy and quick access to either binoculars or camera, with minimal strap interference.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable and secure Easy to setup. Use with Nikon D500 and Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Lens (7.54 lbs). It's comfortable and secure.
