BlackRapid Double Breathe Overview

Designed for thin or smaller-framed photographers, this BlackRapid Double Slim Breathe Camera Harness accommodates two cameras by allowing them to hang from the right and left shoulders. The cameras can then rest upside-down along both the right and left hips so they can be quickly raised for use. Even when connected to two large cameras with their attached lenses, the Double Slim Breathe remains comfortable to wear due to its resilient and breathable mesh pads which cushion the back and shoulders. The pads' structure optimizes air circulation between the wearer and the harness, which works to remove and minimize perspiration in warm and hot environments.

To attach to a camera or a lens, both of the Double Slim Breathe Camera Harness' webbings feature a durable, brass and zinc-alloy CR-3 ConnectR locking carabiner. Also provided is a BlackRapid FR-5 FastenR Breathe for every carabiner. Each FR-5 FastenR Breathe creates a connection point using a camera or lens's 1/4"-20 tripod mount and has a large, integrated D-ring for easy use with BlackRapid webbings that utilize a CR-3 ConnectR.

The length of each webbing is adjustable from 36.0 to 60.0" and measures up to 1.0" wide. Spring-loaded bumper locks that can be slid up and down the length of the strap's webbings make it especially easy to limit excess camera movement when using the Double Slim Breathe. Additionally, the webbings from a separately-available BlackRapid Binocular Breathe Strap can be connected to the front of this harness so that it can hold a binocular or a third camera against the wearer's chest.

When only one camera needs to be carried, the Double Slim Breathe's front sternum and rear stabilizing straps can be disconnected to create two individual cross-body camera straps. One strap can be worn across a right-handed user's body, draped from the left shoulder to the right hip, while the other can be worn across a left-handed user's body, draped from the right shoulder to the left hip. Either individual strap allows a connected camera to rest upside-down along the hip so it can be quickly raised for use.

A nylon pouch is included for storage and transport, as well as two plastic BlackRapid Lockstar Breathe Carabiner Protectors, both of which are compatible with BlackRapid straps that feature a CR-3 ConnectR locking carabiner. By folding over a CR-3 ConnectR, a Lockstar Breathe prevents unintentional user contact with a CR-3 ConnectR that could cause it to accidentally unlock. Additionally, it helps to block the metal surface of a CR-3 ConnectR from scratching a connected camera or lens.

question

Will this hold a Nikon d610 with 70-200 and battery grip along with a d7200, 17-50, and battery grip for six hours?
Asked by: Clearnce
Ye,but you should balance the lenses if one is a tele zoom etc. and the other a wide angle or zoom. Adjust the length on the straps so they hang evenly so it's comfortable. Make sure that the hook on the back is connected otherwise the setup will be uneven. I wouldn't connect a long tele to this rig, usually I'd have it attached to a monopod and if I need to use the other body with a shorter lens I just lean the monopod/lens against my body with the lens over my shoulder. You don't need to add uneccessary weight on your body esp. attached to the harness.

question

What is the approx women's size?
Asked by: June G.
My wife (the photographer) wears XLARGE to XXLARGE clothes and it adjusts to fit her just fine. That said. I bought it for her for a Christmas gift after doing a LOT of due diligence about relieving neck strain from shooting for hours with a large, heavy lens and camera. Not usable. She hates it. Gave it several tries. Hard to figure out how to put it on was another gripe she had. Well constructed so that was not the issues. Just was not usable getting off the floor then back on the floor (baby/toddler shoots, etc.). We are still looking for a workable solution.

question

I use a Nikon D4s and recently bought a Nikon 200-500mm lens. the BlackRapid Double Slim Breathe Camera Harness come as slim or standard. I'm shooting gymnastics competitions etc. I'm not a big guy. I'm 5'7 165. Which size harness woyld be better suited for me.. I also carry another similar size camera with a 24-70mm lens. Can someone help me out?

I have the BlackRapid Double Original Series Slime Breathe Camera Harness. Why. I have recently had my 3rd spinal cord operation and I use the Nikon D5, D4s and recently D850 with grip. So in order to save my back and carry 2 of these cameras with large lenses, this harness is a miracle worker and no strain on my back. Do not get a small. I am sure standard is fine, but if they have large get it. I am up in Canada and our winters are cold, so that means heavier clothing. My Blackrapid fits fine and I am 6'1/2 250lbs. I believe mine is the standard size. Don't forget the straps our adjustable. I got mine at B&H and just love it.
