Handy gadget that's always close by

I got this as a freebie with the TLT universal L-Bracket. The L-Bracket is a rare bad product from TLT, but this multitool has stayed with me. The carabiner clips to your camera bag or belt loop so it's always available. The 4mm hex wrench is the usual size for QR screws and the like, so it's almost always the one you want. The coin key fits the slots in those same screws. It ain't fancy, but it sure is practical. If you need more than just the 4mm hex key, Leofoto makes a nice version of this with a couple mor hex key sizes that B&H also carries, the Leofoto MPL Multi-Function Phtotgraphy Tool for Tripod MPL B&H (bhphotovideo.com)

I received my first 3 Legged Multi-Tool along with a 3 Legged tripod and liked it so well I purchased a second tool. Really like the compact design and the integrated carabiner. Unfortunately, subsequent to purchasing the second tool, I also purchased a new L-Bracket. Turns out that the mounting screw on this new L-bracket is recessed to the point that the flat blade tool on the multi-tool is too short to reach the screw slot. Doh! Bottom line: Really nice multi-tool, but the flat blade needs to be longer to reach recessed mounting screws.
Much handier than a stored Allen wrench.

Easier to grip than an Allen wrench. Easier to find in my kit. probable going to get a couple more and hang one on my tripod and another on my working bag.

This gizmo works every time I use it. The design allows for keeping it on a belt loop. It is large enough to hang on to while it is in use. Have several so I always have the tolls necessary to make photography easier.
needs a sturdier key ring

I keep mine one my key chan it is great to having in run and gun situation. my only problem is the key ring hole is too small and the key ring provided is really week i had to replace it with in a month. So when i had to replace the key ring it did not fit nicely in the hole.

I have 3 of these tools attached to camera bags and a tripod case. This will be my 4th purchase of this look. It is a very good minimal tool for quick adjustments.
