I know this item hasn't been approved by RED, but can it power the RED Komodo?
The approved Canon BP-9 batteries have a 7.4V output voltage and the GyroVu D-Tap Adapter has a 7.2V output voltage. Although GyroVu states that this is a Canon BP-955 Battery Adapter, RED only recommends using Canon BP-9 batteries and any malfunctions regarding battery power will void your warranty.
