The N25BL5Z Pro Series 2MP Outdoor Network Dome Camera from Dahua Technology features H.265 video compression, reducing bandwidth and storage requirements without sacrificing video quality. It also features True Wide Dynamic Range and Smart IRs. The camera is housed in an IK10- and IP67-rated enclosure, making it suitable for outdoor installation. Equipped with Intelligent Video System (IVS) analytics, this camera has the ability to detect and analyze moving and idle objects, tripwire crossing, and faces.
The camera has four times the pixel density of 1080p devices. With an 8MP sensor, it delivers video capable of showing better details compared to standard HD devices. It delivers clear images even when shooting under sodium-vapor lamps that typically add a yellowish tint to the scene, hampering identification. This camera provides a built-in white balance mode that compensates for the tint to restore the scene to its original color.
The H.265 video compression standard in this eyeball camera offers double the data compression ratio at the same level of video quality, or substantially improved video quality at the same bit rate, as compared to older video compression technologies. H.265 offers improved compression by expanding the pattern comparison and difference-coding, improving motion vector prediction and motion region merging, and incorporating an additional filtering step called sample-adaptive offset filtering. With IR illumination, detailed images can be captured in varied lighting conditions. The camera's Smart IR technology adjusts the intensity of the camera's infrared LEDs to compensate for the distance of an object. With a temperature range of -22 to 140°F, the camera is designed for extreme temperature environments. The camera is housed in an IP67-rated rugged enclosure thereby making it suitable for outdoor installation.
