Featuring electronic contacts, this adapter supports various shooting features, such as autofocus in AF-S mode, in-camera aperture control, and permits the use auto-exposure modes. Due to the electronic communication, the adapter will support the AF/MF mode, show depth of field values on the camera, and transfer Exif data to the camera.
This adapter is specifically designed to work with E-type Nikon lenses, featuring an electromagnetic diaphragm, and Leica SL cameras updated to firmware version 2.0. It does not currently support continuous autofocus (AF-C) or image stabilization.
