This remote works really well. was able to get some good self portraits through the use of this remote. It's easy to hide once you press the button to activate.

I tried using "cannon connect" for remote shutter release , worked great when it worked. Loosing connection, unable to pair, etc. BR-E1 remote connected quickly and worked great. Simple to use ,easy to carry. Note, the user is note able to change battery. When the battery goes out it has to be shipped in to be changed.

I have an M6 Mark II and it absolutely has bluetooth. I don't have the BR-E1 yet but people have reported it works fine with the M6 as long as you have the camera in the correct drive mode.
