Capture 360 spherical VR videos and stills in 8K and 3D. Put on an optional VR headset and watch everything as you capture it. Moreover, you can live stream it as you capture it, using less bandwidth thanks to H.265 compression and cube map projection techniques. These are just some of the features of the Insta360 Pro, which was designed from the ground up with creators in mind.

The Insta360 Pro is built with six 200° fisheye lenses and offers adjustable shutter speed, but you have complete control over how many lenses the camera shoots with. You can select from just three to all six and control which subjects take center stage in the image. The camera also records audio with four built-in mics and additionally supports an external mic.

There's a big difference between 360 with image stabilization and 360 without it. Advanced, real-time image stabilization is another of the features of the Insta360 Pro. The Insta360 Pro also employs a precise optical flow stitching process that minimizes seam lines.

The Insta360 Pro features a mostly aluminum frame and comes with a base stand that can be used as a stand or as a tripod mount (via a threaded mounting hole on the bottom).

Pro Spherical VR 360 8K Camera (Black) is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from I really hope the software is worked on ASAP! I really want to love this...... the image quality is great and the stitching is the best I've ever seen..... but the stitching program crashes on the mac EVERY TIME (maxed out Mac Pro and new maxed out MacBook Pro). There have been 2 firmware updates since purchase and they still have not addressed the problem... also, the wifi it creates drops after a couple min, so if you need to use the app to start and stop, you have a 50% chance of it holding. I know new products are buggy, but this is ridiculous!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The most accessible camera for 360 video filming I first heard this camera when I went to the VR creator lab in Youtube Space LA. After a quick trial, I found the user interface and camera performance were amazing at this price point. I ordered the camera from B&H and it took me too long on the waiting list. I placed the order directly from their website and received the camera last week. The camera works perfectly in stereoscopic video shooting and the 120 fps slow-motion in log mode. The only concern is about the battery life. I need more batteries as I always shoot in the field. Any suggestions?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is more than the camera The word that came to my mind once I start writing this review is : Totally Worth it! I was one of the first early adapters choosing this camera. And I know what's going on with this camera since the very beginning. The camera was released in a rush with a few bugs initially but the guys on their Facebook page are totally committed to our Issues&questions 24/7. I have never seen a company working like this, this is completely amazing. I had a chance to visit their company and I'm shock how young they are. Regardless of the 8K and 3D stuff, which you can already find many samples around the internet, I want to respect the commitment from the creators and I have seen growing potential on this camera already, I am giving this camera 5 star.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great 360 Camera I have tried several 360 cameras, including other cameras from Insta360 and this one blows all of them off the map. I am giving 4 out of 5 stars not because of the camera but because of the lack of a user's manual when I received it. I had to painfully learn how to use it via Insta360 few tutorials and other users' posts on YouTube, who were as lost as I was. By now (a few weeks later) they have created a series of Q.A.'s on their website which pretty much explain all the features. That being off of my chest, I must say that it is a great camera with a super-sharp image and amazing on-camera stitching software. And even if it only goes up to 4K, you always have the separate files if you want to do a post-stitching reaching full 8K capacity. Be ready to spend some time stitching; the process is slow even with a powerful CPU. I wish there would be an external battery to connect to the DC power input, but it might become a reality later on. Remember this camera just came out of the oven. Another thing to mention is that Insta360 is releasing firmware updates all the time, improving weaknesses and bugs. Hats off to them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bleeding edge but very satisfied If you are considering a professional 360 camera, look no further than this. This camera was the killer of the 30K plug OZO 360 camera which didn't do half of what this camera does in terms of features and image quality. That said, there are some caveats. I consider this camera an early adopter model, as it has some nagging software issues with the WiFi connections. I've had the most success with my iPhone 8, but my iPad disconnects randomly. The stitching software is very good, but be prepared for long wait times if your computer does not support hardware encoding. On my late model iMac, a 5-minute 8K mono video took 30 minutes to stitch, which in the scheme of things is not horrible, I'm just setting expectations. You can stitch in camera, but the quality is not as good, and only should be used if you need to stream or output something quickly. The unit is solidly built and comes with a nice hard pelican-like case. The instruction book is totally useless and your only help is Insta360's Facebook group. Oh, and one more thing: DO NOT PURCHASE THE SD CARD THAT B & H RECOMMENDS! It will FAIL on write tests. You need to purchase the SanDisk Extreme Pro - 95/MB sec one that Insta360 recommends.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great camera.... still super buggy I'm an early adopter, so I'm used to this kind of gear being pretty beta when I get it. If you're looking at this, you're probably wanting it for the inputs, and high video resolution. Just to clarify, those are fantastic. There are a bunch of problems I'm going to document here: 1. The customer support is only on HK time, so in the US, you have to write an email (no chat available), then get a response in the AM. Getting a little help takes days. 2. I still can't get it connected to a wifi connection. there's no way to connect. You're supposed to connect via QR code, and it has not worked for me at all 3. The internal hotspot it creates is super stable hooking it up to my mac, but drops within 5 min to my iPhone. No iPad app available yet. 4. The software crashes on my MacPro and my new MacBook Pro. I cannot stitch anything on those, I have to use a windows laptop. 5. The fan comes on immediately and is SUPER loud. You will absolutely have to use external recording... thank god there's a 3.5mm jack to record to the camera. That said, the quality of the stitch is the best I've seen thus far. I'm still testing it, and the support that I have gotten from them acknowledges these issues, so hopefully I can change this to 5 star soon...... but as a professional camera, it's still very lacking.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lots of issues and little help I have been playing with this camera for about a month, and it is still not performing the way it should be. The biggest problem is audio. The fan drowns out anything beyond five feet or so, and external microphones do not seem to help. The customer service is in China, and is very, very limited. If you're looking for something to work straight out of the box, be aware that you'll need to spend more on an SD card and that the audio is a big problem. I also still have seams in the final mp4s. On the positive side, this is the only camera that I know of that does real-time stitching. . . .

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hoping for better. Overall I think the camera is great but I also think there's a lot of room for improvement, especially with the support. The online videos need to have a lot more information in detail. They should also be professionally done and not just look like backyard videos. I've tried to join the Facebook support page and have not been approved yet after a week. The app has crashed several times on me. I was just hoping for something a little bit better for the price that I paid.
