I was looking for an Arca-Swiss baseplate that would allow me to use the Gitzo GT3533 tripod with my Linhof Technikardan 45 (TK45) camera. The precision-machined Arca-Swiss Long Quick Release Camera Plate (150mm) fit perfectly and solidly, seamlessly matching the precision engineering of the Linhof. Its secure fit and high-quality build have made setting up my camera effortless, ensuring stability and confidence during shoots.

I have the oben GH800 and the supplied plate won't stay tight. Will this work with my canon 100-400 foot ? I'm not sure what the 2 screws are for. Does one go to the camera and the other to the foot of the Lens?
Asked by: Debbie
This arca plate would be too long for the Canon 100-400 4.5-5.6 IS II lens. For that lens I recommend this Wimberely P10 plate. It has a lip in the front of the plate that will hold the lens from twisting in the plate. Plates come with multiple screws because some lenses accept more than one screw on the bottom of the lens. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/205333-REG/Wimberley_P_10_P10_Quick_Release_Plate.html

Is this the right plate for a Tamron 150-600?
Asked by: Joseph
The removable rotating tripod collar included with the Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 Lens features an Arca-type compatible foot. So, no plate is necessary to mount the lens on an Arca-type compatible tripod head.

Can the two side screws be removed for use of just the center mounting location? I would like to use this on a Graflex series D.

Yes, the Arca-Swiss Long Quick Release Camera Plate (150mm) has threads on each slide for the screws to be removed and placed at the center.
