The CHG90 49" 32:9 Curved 144 Hz FreeSync HDR LCD Monitor from Samsung is an ultra-large and ultra-wide display packed with plenty of features aimed at gaming and multitasking. It's essentially two Full HD displays placed side-by-side without the annoying bezel in between. The curved edges wrap around you field of view, placing your right in the middle of the action for a more immersive experience. To enhance your games, it's equipped with AMD FreeSync 2 technology, a 1 ms response time, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and plenty of optimized game modes. Thanks to Samsung's Quantum Dot technology and HDR, it will provide you with over a billion vivid and accurate colors for your entertainment. Connect this display to your system via HDMI, DisplayPort, or Mini DisplayPort and then tilt, swivel, and adjust its height to suit your viewing preferences.

Ultra-Large, Ultra-Wide Curved Screen
With a 1800R curvature, the ultra-wide CHG90 wraps around the edges of your field of view, placing you right in the middle for an immersive experience. Its 32:9 aspect ratio is essentially two Full HD displays placed side-by-side.
Quantum Dot Technology
Samsung's Quantum Dot technology provides you with vivid and accurate colors, especially greens and reds, for more life-like pictures.
HDR Support
The CHG90 monitor supports HDR (High Dynamic Range), which offers improved brightness and contrast levels so dark areas are darker and bright areas are brighter. Thanks to its wider range of colors, you'll be able to see more details such as a bright blue sky with deep shadows and silhouettes.
AMD FreeSync 2
AMD FreeSync technology syncs the display's refresh rate to your graphics card's frame rate output for less stutter, ghosting, and tearing. Building on the previous iteration, FreeSync 2 works in conjunction with HDR for increased brightness levels, GPU tone mapping, and smoother playback.
1 ms Response Time & 144 Hz Refresh Rate
Game without motion blur thanks to the 1 ms MPRT (motion picture response time) on this monitor. Furthermore, it sports a 144 Hz refresh rate for fluid and more responsive interactions. If your hardware isn't capable of 144 Hz, you can scale it down to 60 or 120 Hz when necessary.
Black Equalizer
Black Equalizer features 20-steps of adjustments to alter any game scene to the brightness level you want. You'll now be able to spot enemies hiding in the darkest areas of the screen.
Eye-Saver Mode
Reduce blue light emissions and give your eyes a break with Eye-Saver Mode. With it, you'll have less eye strain, a more comfortable experience, and be able to use the monitor for longer periods of time.
Optimized Settings
Swap through different gaming modes for all the genres of games you play. The factory-calibrated settings optimize black levels, gamma levels, contrast ratios, sharpness, and color value settings for FPS, RTS, RPG, or AOS games.
OSD Dashboard
Skip built-in hardware buttons and use the on-screen dashboard to adjust monitor settings on-the-fly. There's even shortcut keys for even quicker access.
Multitasking Made Easy
Basically two 16:9 Full HD monitors side-by-side, the CHG90 replaces your multi-monitor setup without bezels ruining the experience. Use Easy Setting Box to partition the screen or display multiple screens of different sizes with just a click. It also supports PIP (Picture-in-Picture), letting you connect and view different sources simultaneously.
Arena Lighting
Located on the back is the CHG90's audio-aligned Arena Lighting. As game sounds grow louder, it glows brighter, simulating moments of high intensity.

CHG90 49" 32:9 Curved 144 Hz FreeSync HDR LCD Monitor is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally Have owned for two months and found my all-time favorite. I like large, high-def monitors and tried 49"-51" 4K TVs, but they had too much real-estate for desktop gaming. I was always missing action due to the vertical distance from corner to corner. This is the perfect solution. Very happy and recommend highly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection This monitor is amazing. ALL Steam games will work on it, if it doesn't support the native resolution there will be a black bar on the sides(like other ultra wides). games the do support the full aspect ratio look gorgeous! I think it's a great value considering its the only one of its kind. thanks, Samsung!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best gaming monitor EVER The ultimate replacement to a multi monitor setup. I think it could have a 7680 * 2160 version to compensate for the 4K compromise made and a G-SYNC version though

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Monitor The only recommendation would be that Samsung starts to support the market and Gsync instead of FreeSync. Most people that can afford these screens will be running Nivida cards, not AMD. But love the monitor, blacks are deep it's bright and a dream to game on even without active sync.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Massive, solid build quality, and noticeable curvature Absolutely love the monitor. All the games I've played so far have supported the native resolution e.g. Player Unknown's Battlegrounds, Killing Floor 2, etc. Definitely a step up from my 34 ultra-wide. I can't recommend it enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Forget the reviews from the unintelligent and monetarily challenged. If you have the money to blow on a monitor like this do it. I have money to blow on stuff like this so I do. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase of this monitor. Colors are awesome... response time and refresh rate are amazing. Games are super immersive and I have not had any compatibility issues. When other people see it they are in AWE. So yeah, 5 stars for a unique, first of its kind product. Thanks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from all excellent but i would definetly wait for a 4k one Excellent monitor for gaming,, but if you do other things like photo editing you would go for a 4k one ( that's what i do, using additional 34" monitor).. HDR work perfectly "but" you have to adjust the settings/color from the Graphic card menu ( in my case NVIDIA) otherwise it looks like washed out. In the most cases don't expect a great look after enabling the HDR function in the windows display menu. I will calibrate the monitor together with the HDR and probably comment afterward, I need my two monitors to match the same colors. Overall great monster monitor :D

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Clarification I returned my screen because of dead pixels. The monitor brightness is a bit of a jam here. in HDR it's extremely dark and hard 2 see. And furthermore, the gaming mode/overdrive automatically enables the backlight strobing, which in itself is great and makes for a blur free experience, but the brightness of the display with this enabled is quite frankly abysmal. With it off it's nice and bright, but you basically have to play in a completely dark room to see anything with the gaming mode on. Sadly running with it off makes(like all current VA panels) for an extremely blurry experience. The lack of backlight zones also causes problems in games that have a bit of contrast between dark and bright areas, it will literally cause big sections of the screen to dim and make the bottom 3/4 of the screen normal brightness and the top strip 1/4 really really dark, or vice versa. Things like a white fog in a dark area will also cause some really strange brightness issues, in a foggy section of CoD WWII Zombies, it got so bright that i literally could barely see anything on the rest of the map until i turned away for a few seconds. I suspect alot of the HDR issues also stem from Windows lack of proper support at this point in time as the monitor itself. I didn't mind the 1080p resolution as I prefer framerate over anything else. In many ways it's an excellent display, but I don't feel it's cutting the mustard for gaming quite yet, at least not at an enthusiast level.
