Godox X1 overview

  • 1Description

Enjoy TTL-enabled and reliable wireless flash by picking up the X1T-F TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Transmitter from Godox. This 2.4 GHz X wireless system is compatible with Fujifilm cameras and flashes that support TTL for automatic exposure and metering, making it an excellent choice for shooters who need to work quickly. It also has an outstanding range of 328' and can be set to one of 32 channels for limiting interference with other nearby systems. Another huge benefit is the ability to control up to five groups at a time, or set the unit to ratio flash mode for three groups with varying power relative to one another.

Users will have access to many settings through the backlit LCD and can make adjustments to settings such as sync delay and triggering modes. Also, through TTL compatibility the system will support high-speed sync, flash exposure compensation, and flash exposure lock, among other settings. Beyond this, users will be able to easily mount their flash to the transmitter's top hot shoe, or you can connect a studio strobe via the PC sync terminal on the receiver or PC sync terminal on the transmitter. Additionally, it runs on two AA batteries and has a micro-USB port for firmware updates.

    Godox X1 reviews

X1T-F TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Transmitter for Fujifilm is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! No problems with HSS, TTL, or manual I bought this trigger for my Fuji XT2 camera, along with the supporting TT350F and TT685F. All three work together work flawlessly in TTL, HSS, and fully manual flash. I have had no issues/problems controlling the mode or flash settings with this remote. ***Caution: I did need upgrade the firmware on the flashes from the Godox web site's support section; it was easy. Also, you also need to read the Fuji manual and monkey with the camera's flash settings. I now just leave everything in HSS. ***

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too big for X100F Seems to function as it should but is far too big for X100F. Makes shutter/iso dial unusable and even makes the shutter button hard to get to...especially if you use a soft shutter button.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HSS not working with half the Godox line.... Well looking at all the videos on Youtube with people enjoying HSS with their X1 trigger with all Godox flash line , it seems that the X1T-F (coupled with the XTR-16) is only half the product than its counterpart C, N and O... HSS is not working for the non TTL and usb wireless control flashes (including AD3600, TT800, TT350...) which is even less acceptable that Godox doesn't seem to communicate on the problem apart from elusive mail sent to few disappointed customers (I am not even one of those lucky ones since not getting any answer to my mails) mentioning that they might consider addressing the problem with future firmware update... in other words, too bad the product doesn't deliver on what it is marketed for and what you bought it for... but you can still hope

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HSS don't work with FujiFilm XT20 Hats off to those have it working ! or did they notice HSS actually don't work with the Fuji system with this.. lol or those having it working is using different FujiFilm camera body? Unfortunately, there is no accurate YouTube as of today.. to clearly indicate this works with the FujiFilm XT20 body... i am aware there are settings on the Camera to match as well.. well i have spent days.. and none of any combination works... closest getting HSS to work is seeing 1/4 of an image when set to Front curtain or Rear curtain sync... when set to HSS option on FujiFilm... it won't fire.. or in manual.. it can't set speed to beyond 250 I have the X1T-S (sony) unit as well and I know for a fact that one work with the Sony Mirrorless perfectly even HSS mode. I have tried for days now.. and have give up.. I have upgraded all the Firmware.. but still no go.. maybe it works on certain Godox strobes.. HSS is 100% not working on Godox AD360, AD600, or the AD200.. that is alarming! just regular firing of course it works 250/sec or under.. is a shame it got many Fuji user excited.. but it actually don't work lol If Godox seriously trying to sell this... make multiple videos.. covering all FujiFilm bodies.. and all the major Godox strobe.. and with someone that has North American English.. then perhaps there won't be reviews like this here. So, enough of this; just purchase couple of Cactus V6 MK2 transceivers.. based on multiple reviews and video clips.. that totally works.. they sell them at B&H

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product This is a great transmitter. It puts itself to sleep to save battery power. Just push the test button to wake it up again. Minimal buttons makes it easy to program and change setting. Youtubes video help with getting started. I ordered a second one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally an affordable transmitter that does TTL and HSS! Great product. Nothing really to complain about. Works perfect with my Godox TT350 and X-T1!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great flash for Fuji cameras I have used this flash on several occasions and it works great. It's not a powerful flash by any means but for small room or fill flash it does the job. I will probably opt to get the larger Godox flash units and use this as a master or background flash. So far quite happy with this unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Set-up, Reliable This just plain worked with my Fuji gear and a couple of Godox flashes (V860 and TT685's). In small rooms and a couple of these, one can create very natural looking lighting. Nice light spread with a couple of flashes and large group shots, too.
