Some of the rubber is coming off my Nikon D810 and I was looking for a low cost solution so I would not have to send it to Nikon to be repaired. The cover was easy to put on. All the buttons, switches and door work well. It definitely looks different but not ridiculous. I would purchase it again.

Unfortunately, the answer is "no." The thickness of the silicone cover on the base and LH side misaligns the access doors as well as the screw hole on the base. Instead, I use a quick release tripod plate on the base only. To shoot vertically, I use the ball head on the tripod.
