The Tilta Nucleus-M Wireless Lens Control` System features a 1000' transmission range and comes with two lens drive motors with built-in wireless receivers, a FIZ hand controller, and two handgrips—one to control focus, and the other iris and zoom. The lens drive motors each feature a cine standard 0.8 MOD drive gear and two 7-pin connectors, enabling you to freely swap or interchange each motor. The motors power by daisy-chaining using the 7-pin cables, and each motor includes a 19mm rod clamp with 19 to 15mm reducing bushing.
The FIZ hand controller allows you to control focus, iris, and zoom, and it includes a neck strap. The handgrips feature adapters that enable mounting the controllers onto ARRI-compatible rosettes or onto 25/30mm diameter rods, such as those used with gimbals. The system comes packed in a waterproof hard case that protects your gear during transport and storage.

Tilta Nucleus-M Reviews
Must Have for Solo Shooters
If you're a solo shooter for narrative or documentary work, this is a must have. It pairs perfectly with no hiccups and the Nucleus-M has a ton of torque (with adjustable settings) to make working with heavy cine glass a breeze. It is also compatible with both the Nucleus-M remote focus wheel as well as the Nucleus Nano remote focus wheel, so you can pair across the entire Nucleus line of accessories. Best feature is the auto-calibration if you use lenses with hard-stop focus rings.
Tilta always great
Solid and 0 delay
Amazing little system for the price
Look, your AC will complain and they're probably right. This little jammer doesn't stand close to the WCU-4. But guess what?! Budgets these days don't allow for a $12K follow focus system on every job so this little guys is gonna have to make do sometimes. Far from perfect but works darn well for the dollars spent. Biggest beef for me: You also have to buy separate R/S cables and the one for Alexa EXT doesn't power the motor. You can get a 3-pin Fischer cable but Tilta support has said they don't recommend it.
What I was looking for
Easy to build, reliable and responsive, with the choice of battery or running power via dtap. I can finally keep my hands on the handles and control the frame in the best way when shooting on a shoulder rig, and still being able to manually focus or changing iris. Top product, I wish I had pulled the trigger earlier.
Fantastic system
My ACs love this Tilta wireless control system. Easy to use, accurate and intuitive to use. Works flawlessly and makes us look super professional :-)
Great value but product quality has decreased
I'm giving this product 4 stars because the value simply cannot be beat. I'm deducting 1 star for Tilta cheaping out on the manufacturing. We recently ordered this product to replace a Nucleus-M kit that had been stolen from us. Our original Nucleus kit was from when the product first came out, and the build quality on the new units is noticeably cheaper. So many of the parts that were previously metal in the original kit are now plastic. Pretty disappointing considering they're still charging the same amount for it.
Doesn't come w batteries
Doesn't come with batteries. Repeat Doesn't come w batts Must be ordered separately. Doesn't come w batts.
Runs with much more expensive systems
So far this has been great. Spend some time getting used to it before jumping on set. My only gripe is with some of their other gear (like focus rings that are too soft to work with this). Spend the $$ and get the whole kit rather than adding pieces later.
