The Tilta Nucleus-M Wireless Lens Control` System features a 1000' transmission range and comes with two lens drive motors with built-in wireless receivers, a FIZ hand controller, and two handgrips—one to control focus, and the other iris and zoom. The lens drive motors each feature a cine standard 0.8 MOD drive gear and two 7-pin connectors, enabling you to freely swap or interchange each motor. The motors power by daisy-chaining using the 7-pin cables, and each motor includes a 19mm rod clamp with 19 to 15mm reducing bushing.
The FIZ hand controller allows you to control focus, iris, and zoom, and it includes a neck strap. The handgrips feature adapters that enable mounting the controllers onto ARRI-compatible rosettes or onto 25/30mm diameter rods, such as those used with gimbals. The system comes packed in a waterproof hard case that protects your gear during transport and storage.

Tilta Nucleus-M Reviews
unbeatable for its price
I have now owned the tilta for almost 3 years now. and i can happily say that for my smaller shoots wither it be a short film, small commercial, spec ad or what have you. the tilta has saved me more times then i can count. the menu system and getting everything to talk to one another is a little tedious and i do wish it had lens mapping abilities but we actually had on a bigger commercial a wc4 hand unit act up because of all the different wifi / radio signals around us and it couldnt communicate to the motors on the camera. so we quickly swapped it out for my tilta and without fail the tilta did the job. its not for every job or every lens and the run start stop cable tends to short out in a small amount of time. but when replacement costs arent the same price as a car door or new tire on a car it absolutely is worth its weight in gold. if you are a new owner op of a camera system of any type and need to have the ability for wireless ff for an AC or for yourself i recommend this product highly. they have videos online to show you have the pairing works streamline and how to properly adjust to different lenses. i hope they do an upgrade to the system sometime or come out with another higher end piece because for 1100 for the whole kit... wow.
Good ole faithful
Works as should.
Game changer
It's a great piece of equipment, great responsive time, it's a great investment at low cost for a 3 channel hand unit, and very reliable.
Flat Top 18650
Don't waste your time with the button-top batteries they don't fit. You need flat-top 18650s.
Must Have for Solo Shooters
If you're a solo shooter for narrative or documentary work, this is a must have. It pairs perfectly with no hiccups and the Nucleus-M has a ton of torque (with adjustable settings) to make working with heavy cine glass a breeze. It is also compatible with both the Nucleus-M remote focus wheel as well as the Nucleus Nano remote focus wheel, so you can pair across the entire Nucleus line of accessories. Best feature is the auto-calibration if you use lenses with hard-stop focus rings.
Doesn't come w batteries
Doesn't come with batteries. Repeat Doesn't come w batts Must be ordered separately. Doesn't come w batts.
Nothing works
Did not work at all. Smells like electrical short circuit. Terrible QA.
Look and feel professional
These are super cool and once set up they work well. Drawbacks are they have to be set up every time and it can be a hassle for focus unless you have hard stops. Great for zoom! This is not well suited to focus on photo lenses. If your lens does not have hard stops these will be frustrating. You can set them up for a preset focus pull but it's a bit arduous.
