hi does this work for DZOFilm Pictor 20-55mm and 50-125mm T2.8 Super35 Zoom Lens?
Asked by: M
Yes, the Tilta Nucleus-M Wireless Lens Control System would work well with the DZOFilm Pictor 20 to 55mm T2.8 Super35 Parfocal Zoom Lens (PL Mount and EF Mount) and the DZOFilm Pictor 50 to 125mm T2.8 Super35 Parfocal Zoom Lens (PL Mount and EF Mount) as the gears on the lenses are a standard 0.8 MOD.

This might be an odd setup question but I am using Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K's in a studio setup and I'm looking at lens/lens control options. The Fujinon MK18-55 T2.9 MFT lens works with the cameras and this kit plus and additional motor were suggested for lens control. So two questions, how would I power the motors and will three motors fit on the MK18-55 T2.9 lens? The zoom and focus rings are pretty close.
Asked by: Joshua
I power mine using a d-tap battery or a d-tap built into the RED body. I have used these motors in tighter configurations by flipping them around and using one on each side of the lens. Hope this helps!

question

How would I mount the grip to a tripod handle?
Asked by: Devin
Tilta does have adapters however does not list their sizes nor does B&H sell them. We believe that this adapter may be the one shown in the Tilta Nucleus-M video. http://bit.ly/2CEKTnY. Also this adapter from Wooden Camera should work on most any tripod pan handle. Wooden Camera Tripod Head Pan Bar to ARRI Rosette B&H # WO251800. If you email us with the diameter of your tripod pan handle, we can find out what adapter Tilta recommends. [email protected].

I'm shooting in an environment that doesn't allow for any wireless transmission. Is it possible to control two motors with a single handgrip through a wired-only configuration? Can I turn off all wireless function? Can I run p-tap power into one motor, then into the second motor, then into the handgrip, and power/control all 3 devices?
Asked by: Dakota
Yes, The Tilta Nucleus-M will allow you to run wired for control. The way to turn off the wireless setting is under the high medium low settings. There's a setting for off, then just run a cable from the hand grips to the motors.
