FUJIFILM Wide Monochrome Reviews

B&W instax wide film

this instant film looks more like B&W 35mm film than anything I have seen, the color pack is not as good, I have the canon selphy also and the colors are much better

Too expensive

With the link wide printer shooting black and white and printing on colour gives the same result so this really isn't worth the price with the instax wide link

Doesn't expire till 05/2023

Just ordered a pack and the one I received doesn't expire until 05/2023. So no complaints from me. Very happy!

When I purchased this film I did not realize it was expired. Do not buy it. I ran through all ten exposures and not one image developed.

Monochrome?

I wish it was more monochrome. It does have a slight colour shift to it, and like any Instax film, has a really narrow dynamic range.

Old School

I wish this film had a black border as you can get in the color film. But, for now, I will accept it as the Monochrome film itself is spectacular.

Decent film

Compared to the color film, this film performs well but it is not ideal. I must say that the film I received was not expired but it still performed well. Nonetheless, the bw chemistry is not as good as the color chemistry. The bw film takes a bit more knowledge to shoot.

Did they expired in 2019?

I have used Instax Wide color with good to great results in homemade pinhole cameras and would assume this will work well. It probably should be treated like infrared and put a red filter in front of the pinhole and factor in to your exposure.

question

Has anyone tried this film with a pinhole camera?
