Very tight with AB brand batteries.

The plate is functional, but it's extremely tight (to a fault) with Anton Bauer brand gold mounts (Titons). So tight that sliding the batteries on takes legitimate effort with one hand, while the other hand holds the camera body. I'm never sure if it's in perfect contact as the fact that it's overly tight prevents it from snapping in. Again, it works, but I wish I had spent the extra $100 for the AB brand plate. 2.5 stars.

Bought 2 One bad right out of the box. Battery would not clip on. The other ok, but way cheaper plastic then reg gold mounts. Does NOT fit on the ssd mini recorder,
