Like the stand and unit, not attached cord

I had a the Elgato Stream Deck MK2 and like that unit, but looked to get this one for travel purposes with the foldup stand that looked more compact. It is and great for that. I also like the various angles that the stand can be set in, which is way more useful than I thought it would be. What I don't like is the attached cord, unlike the MK2 the cord is attached. Hoping that it last a long time.

Bought this for Krita photo editor software, and using it for that and so much more. Easy to use, automatically selects the profile of the app that is open. Going to be using it for more things in the future.

I got this after a lot of research. I stream meetings over Zoom so that people can attend in person or virtually. This allows me to switch lower thirds over OBS while also managing settings on Zoom without having to switch windows.

I cannot express enough how much the stream deck has improved my live streaming productions. Being able to cut between scenes, mute mics, add overlays quickly at the push of a button is vital.

What a smart, easy to use, excellent device that gets me through repetitive tasks so much easier. Not sure what took me so long to take the plunge and get one. But I feel silly for not doing it earlier -- it's that good!

Apparently not. According to the requirements listed on the official website, it works only with macOS 10.11 or later, and Windows 10 64-bit. You need to download a software app in order for Stream Deck to work, and that app is only available for these two operating systems.

It will work, although the manufacturer does not recommend using any additional cabling (than the one provided) and they advise to use a direct connection (no USB hubs) for reliable performance.
