Effective little workhorse

I needed a headphone amp for our small attic studio to allow for up to four players to set their own headphone level. This one does the trick, though a bit more amplifying power would be nice. (It's plenty loud when I turn it up all the way, but a little extra for stage environments would be helpful.) Pots are clean and hookup is easy. I gaffer taped it to the top of an amp to help it stay in one reliable place.

Had a great setup with my Focusrite Scarlett but needed extra headphone jacks so multiple people could get sound. This was a good solution. Need to make sure you have balanced cables for everyone to hear with both ears though... :)

The Mackie HM-4 4-Way Headphones Amplifier (B&H # MAHM4) would not be natively compatible with V-mount batteries. The combination below should work, but it has not been tested: SmallRig VB99 Pro Mini V-Mount Battery (BH # SM4292) Hawk-Woods D-Tap Male to DC 2.5mm (11.8""), B&H # HAPC12
