CINEMA DSP 3D Sound Field Reproduction Technology
CINEMA DSP 3D is designed to provide a wide, high, and dense sound field. HD Audio format decoding lets you enjoy HD Audio sources. Virtual Presence Speaker virtually delivers three-dimensional sound without the use of actual presence speakers.
MusicCast for Whole-Home Music
Use all your MusicCast products together or separately – it's up to you. Control it all from one app. Use a soundbar, a wireless speaker, the receiver, or Hi-Fi audio, whatever you prefer. Mix and match, then expand your MusicCast system as you like. Additionally, Amazon Alexa allows you to control all your MusicCast devices with voice commands.
MusicCast Surround with Optional Equipment
With optional MusicCast wireless rear speakers, the fuss of hiding wires en route to your rear speakers is removed. You can also add an optional MusicCast wireless subwoofer, which can provide more options for subwoofer placement.
Amazon Alexa with MusicCast
Amazon Alexa-enabled devices can control key functions of nearly any MusicCast product using voice commands. Using two types of Alexa skills, the MusicCast Smart Home skill and the MusicCast skill, you can play music, control volume, play playlists, and link rooms together to play music throughout the house.
SCENE Buttons for One-Touch Start
Pressing a SCENE button powers on the receiver and selects the input source and DSP mode. You can reset the buttons for different sources by selecting a source and DSP mode, then pressing a SCENE button for more than three seconds.

    Yamaha RX-V485BL reviews

    RX-V485 5.1-Channel MusicCast A/V Receiver is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good AVR for a reasonable price Initially i intended to purchase RX-V483, but since it was marked as obsolete, I went for this one, RX-V385 is indeed cheaper, but I was interested to be connected to the web, and since the 385 doesn't have WiFi I decided to have this one, It is very easy to setup, and provides all the necessary features for a good home theater use. What I like the most is the fact that 5.1 audio and video via HDMI cables from my BD and my SAT receiver. In addition, it switches smoothly when I play on my TV Youtube or Netflix. I also love the fact that the TV is synchronized with the AVR. The only drawback I have is the Bluetooth streaming from my phone....occasionally it has short interruptions - but that doesn't happen frequently. In short, if you want a good quality AVR at a reasonable price - I strongly recommend Yamaha RX-V485

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good sound, hdr handling great, good value Not an audiophile but I do enjoy the sound, crisp, clear dialogue, great surround performance. More than enough power for a medium speaker size setup. HDR handling is perfect- my LG TV automatically turns on HDR mode when I play HDR content on Netflix. Best of all the price, IMO this is excellent value as your experience will not be that much better if you choose a receiver thats twice as expensive.
