The D-loop QD Strap Swivel from Really Right Stuff is compatible with many RRS accessories and attaches via its pin. Additionally, the heavy-duty push button design prevents accidental removal. The push button also allows for fast attachment and easy removal of the ring, which has been pull tested for up to 450 lb of pressure. The low-profile and flush attachment of the swivel makes it ideal for narrow straps and straps with a clip.

This appalling piece of garbage is now stuck in my baseplate. No matter how much pressure I put on the button, it will not come loose. This wouldn't be the end of the world except in addition to being stuck, it is also this really awful oxidized, parkerized-like finish that feels really gross to touch, and it doesn't easily spin either. Literally every way in which a person would be expected to interact with this product is terrible. Don't buy it. I will probably have to return the new baseplate too, through no fault of its own.
Purchased these in 2022 to place on a Black Rapid strap and double strap. Works great though you have to find the correct technique of inserting and removing which requires pushing the button and turning the QD connector. I would rather have it difficult to remove than have a camera and long lens fall to the ground. A quick yank on the strap checkes to see if the connection is secure.
