The LC500 Bi-Color LED Light Stick from Godox looks like a light saber or wand and its "magic" is its versatility and sheer pleasure of use. It measures 22" long with a diameter of 2" and its 516 LEDs have a color temperature of 5600K or 3300K to meet ambient conditions, match other fixtures, or just for creative effects. Light intensity is variable too, from 10 to 100% to meet your subject's illumination requirements. This light stick emits up to 1200 lux at 1.6' and has a CRI/TLCI rating of 95 for color accuracy. While its output is omni-directional, it can be shaped and directed by the included barndoors.
More DetailsThe LC500's handle makes it a shoo-in for hand-holding and use as a hair light, side light, or main light for selective lighting and distinctive portraiture. It allows adjustments via local buttons and an easy-to-read LCD display or wirelessly using an optional remote control. Additionally, the female threads on the base of the handle allow stand-mounting and hands-free use. The light stick has a built-in battery that gets two hours of run time on a 2.5-hour charge with its included charger. A padded carry case is furnished for storage and transport.

What is the articulated bracket at the base of the light in the photo with the remove control? Looks useful. Probably not included. Does B&H sell it?
I would think this Vello ball head (https://bhpho.to/2LegMbW) is too small for the weight of the stick light. I bought the Kupo 5/8" Swivel Super Grip Double Baby Receiver with Ratcheted Handle to mount the light on a c-stand or light stand. Works prefect.

question
When it says the battery is built in , does that mean it can't be replaced when it finally fails (which all rechargeables eventually do)?
The battery is built in, so it cannot be swapped out by the user, but only by technicians which can service it.
