I bought this for my Tamron Adaptall-2 400/4, and it has a lot of play on the Adaptall side of things, allowing a great deal of rotation, about a millimeter. The EF side has what feels like 1/4 of that amount of play, which I consider to be acceptable. Additionally, the adapter does not push the aperture control cam enough to get it to stop down past f/16 (the lens goes to f/32). Otherwise, it's okay.
