IF THIS IS COPPER, WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF USING IT OVER THE RJ-45 CONNECTION WITH CAT6A OR CAT7? Thanks!
Asked by: Christopher
Fiber channels will have a faster transfer rate than Cat6 or Cat7 connections. Cat7 will have a transfer speed of 10 Gb/s but 99% of the computers do not have that anyway. Additionally, Fiber will be used to transfer data from one network switch to another. Cat5 or Cat6 only have transfer speeds up to 1Gb/s.
