This camera does not do RAW images. The photos are JPEG and the video is MP4 via H.264.

What editing/rendering tools will use the depth map feature? Would be great to mix stills/video with 3D content if supported.
Asked by: Ray
Hi, the files can be edited via Kandao Studio software and the depth image files are in .EXR which can be opened in Adobe software and others too. Here is more info from the user guide "Depth mode: The image or image channel that contains information relating to the distance of the surfaces of scene objects from a viewpoint. The object closer to the camera is lighter; the object further from the camera is darker. When the object is close to the camera, the depth mode footage output would be better than the high quality mode. The format of depth image is “.exr”. There is also output “with depth” option, that images/videos will contain depth information. The 2D depth output would be top down viewing angle. The 3D image depth output would export a depth image at the same format, and video would have an inner depth video(viewing via Potplayer)." Thank you for shopping at B&H!
