Is there a way to get the FTZ to list a lens the ...

Is there a way to get the FTZ to list a lens the same in Lightroom as when the lens is natively used on a f mount camera? For instance, a metadata search is done in LR for a Nikon 105mmF1.4 it shows up as 105mm f1.4 and also as 105mm f1.4 E. This is more of a problem with Zeiss lenses which show up as "Zeiss 100mm F2 T* ZF.2 " or as "100mm f2".
Asked by: Russell
Unfortunately, there is no way to change the embedded EXIF metadata written by the camera and FTZ adapter. A workaround would be to sort your metadata based on lens and camera (100mm + Z-camera would omit pictures made by a F-mount camera) in Lightroom or Bridge and manually paste lens metadata or keyword them.

Sorry. Should have included more detailed info with my original question. My Z5 with F mount lenses attached with an FTZ adapter struggles with continuous focus. With a native lens attached the Z5 does an excellent job of focusing in all modes. Does anyone else have this problem?
Asked by: Richard

Does the z50 adapter work with Tamron's 150-600mm lens G1??
Asked by: Joseph
I recommend checking with the Tamron site to ensure full compatibility with the FTZ adapter. Not all Tamron lenses function when attached to the FTZ adapter. Your G1 lens is not listed as compatible. Yes, it will mechanically attach but you may lose autofocus and other features.
