Canon DR-C225 II Overview

Scan documents with the Canon imageFORMULA DR-C225 II Document Scanner. Featuring an optical resolution of 600 dpi, the DR-C225 II provides high image quality along with the ability to scan up to tabloid-sized documents in folio mode (folded in half lengthwise) or 8.5" wide sheets using the 30-sheet ADF at up to 25 ppm.

There are also features to help improve character legibility as well as straighten and removing shadows from images. A single click allows for the adjustment of multiple features to easily create an optimal scanned image using the intuitive front-side-forward, top-up item feeding. Save your scans in PDF, PDF/A, JBPG, TIFF, PPTX, BMP, or PNG file formats, and you can scan in color, grayscale, or monochrome. The bundled Canon CaptureOnTouch software also enables users to configure routine scan jobs for quick and easy one-touch access.

Space saving scanner. Scans come out really good.

This is the only scanner in this price range that takes as little space as possible on a desktop. Reliability is good, however I had one unit (previous model without II at the end) that failed after 2-years of usage, something with the sensor. ImageFormula line of scanners have been very reliable in the last 10+ years, most of them last 5+ years. They come with TWAIN and WIA and software is easy to use.

Canon imageFORMULA DR-C225 II Document Scanner BH #CADRC225II will not work in windows 11. It only works with Windows 8.1 (32bit/64bit), Windows 10 (32bit/64bit), Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2, Microsoft Windows Server 2016, Microsoft Windows Server 2019, Mac OS 10.13, Mac OS 10.14, Mac OS 10.15.

Yes, but I always tape my receipts to a sheet of copy paper for better control.
