This set of four matched Earthworks M30 microphones is intended for use as part of a precision measurement microphone system for large and small room calibration by live sound professionals, acousticians, and researchers.
The ultrawide frequency response of 3 Hz to 30 kHz is flat throughout the entire spectrum and results in accurate room calibration using FFT-based audio system measurement software including Smaart, SIM, REW, Electroacoustics Toolbox, FuzzMeasure, and others as well as for use in PA system alignment and loudspeaker design.
The small element can handle up to 140 dB SPL without distortion and uses an omnidirectional pattern resulting in a wide and extremely consistent pickup area at the front and sides of the microphone capsule. The M30 set ships with four mic clips, four tip protectors, and four ADP1 1/2" calibrator adapters for field calibration.
