The beige Viviana Extreme Thigh Strap is designed to keep your bodypack transmitter safe and in place on the talent's thigh during extreme action scenes, without undermining comfort. It is handcrafted in Italy using modern materials and design techniques based on ideas suggested by sound pros.
Made of slim and stretchable, sweat- and water-resistant fabric, the extreme thigh strap provides comfort and breathability for extended periods of use. A proprietary hypoallergenic, no-slip grip across its entire surface ensures that it stays in place on the thigh, ideal when working on fast-paced film sets, "reality" TV shows, sports events, or stage performances.
The extreme thigh strap is 24" in length (unstretched) and features an overlap hook-and-loop fastener that provides a snug fit while staying invisible under the talent's clothing. The universal pouch stretches to hold small and large transmitters, and is equipped with a hook-and-loop strip to keep the transmitter securely in place, even in demanding situations.
Two cable pockets let you quickly tuck in the microphone cable, keeping it secure without using tape, while at the same time creating a safe strain-relief system if the cable is tugged on. The extreme thigh strap is color-coded with three mini color squares for easy identification.
- Holds transmitter secure around the thigh during the most extreme action scenes in film, sports, "reality" TV, and stage applications
- Soft, breathable fabric provides talent with a comfortable fit
- Water- and sweat-resistant material prevents sweat from reaching the transmitter when in contact with the skin
- Handcrafted in Italy using high-quality materials
- The thigh strap is 24" in length (unstretched)
- Hypoallergenic, no-slip grip across the entire surface of the strap keeps it from moving around the thigh
- The transmitter pouch is compatible with most popular transmitters on the market
- The pouch features a hook-and-loop strip to keep the transmitter securely in place in the pocket
- Two cable pouches (one on each side of the transmitter pouch) let you tuck in the cable very quickly so you won’t waste time searching for it when rushing on set
- Low-profile hook-and-loop fastener provides a strong grip with an invisible overlap
- A label on the back of the strap creates a grip between the fabric when it’s overlapped, avoiding the "tongue effect" that causes the fabric to lose grip and slip down on the leg of the talent
- Each strap model is color-coded for easy identification
- Three mini color squares are sewn into the pocket area
- Extreme models have an orange square on the top left

Viviana VSTBGEX Reviews
Handy to have
Bought this not knowing if I was ever going to use it, but had it in the event the situation arose where I couldn't place the transmitter on a belt. Well the day came and it sure came in handy being able to attach a microphone and transmitter to a speaker wearing a form fitted dress. Glad I bought this. It's one of those things you keep in your kit for the one off days that things like this happens and it makes all the difference. Will not get high milage from it, but it makes up in big ways.
A highly important tool for the wedding videographer
As a fairly new wedding videographer, I have only just recently begun focusing my attention away from how I can improve the quality of my videos, to instead focus exclusively on the audio within my videos. In that pursuit, this thigh strap has proven to be an incredible tool to help capture the best wedding audio possible. When paired with the white Tascam DR-10L mic, this thigh straps provides a concealed, comfortable, discreet option for holding the transmitter body and spare cable in place. I will typically have the bride put this on with the dress and then remove following the ceremony. This provides me with incredible, high-quality audio throughout several hours of the day - all without having any awkward protuberances or unsightly belt packs, which would be unacceptable at something like a wedding.
