The AC400 easily connects to the AD400 Pro II light, replacing the battery with this constant power source. I typically take these with me for remote/out of studio shoots, just in case I have a battery issue or run past the battery life. Thankfully, I have not ran my batteries too low yet, but these AC400 provides an option if that event occurs. I have tested the AC400 a few times in the studio and they function perfectly.
