ORCA OR-25 Overview

Carry and protect your camera with the Orca OR-25 Backpack for Small Pro Video Camera. This well-padded, ventilated pack offers protection for cameras like the ARRI ALEXA, Blackmagic URSA Mini, JVC-AG-HM-850U, Panasonic EVA1, Sony PXW-X280, FS7, or FS7K, and similar cameras.

Rugged and durable, this backpack features a set of removable, adjustable dividers, seven large exterior pockets, a padded waist belt, and an internal bungee cord to secure your camera within the backpack. Its padded pouch fits up to a 17" laptop, and an external bungee cord enables you to tote a small tripod or monopod on the backpack's exterior.

Too large to use as a backpack

I've used Orca Bags for years. I fly/drive multiple times a week for work. I was looking for an option where I could pack all my camera gear (Panasonic AG-CX350), a small travel tripod, a laptop, and all my accessories into one bag. This looked like the golden ticket. The bag was large enough to fit all my gear into it. But, that's where the problems start. I'm a 6'3 210lb man. I looked like a Ninja Turtle when I would wear the backpack. That's how large the bag is. Yes, I knew what the dimensions were before I bought it. I easily fit 45+lbs of gear in it (which is a problem I created) and could have put even more in it. This bag is not an ideal setup to use as a backpack. Since I passed the return window by a few days I'm keeping it to store gear in it. Not ever using it as a backpack. What I thought would be the golden ticket was just too good to be true. I've gone back to a compact carrying case for my camera and a backpack for everything else. My back thanks me and my wallet is disgusted in me for missing the return window.
