Apple Modern Buckle Band for Apple Watch (40mm, Small, Black)

The Modern Buckle Band for Apple Watch from Apple is constructed from supple Granada leather that is sourced from a small, centuries-old French tannery. The smooth, top-grain leather is lightly milled and tumbled to provide a refined texture. The band gives the appearance of a modern-style buckle, which in reality, is a 2-piece magnetic closure. This design gives a classic look with easy-to-secure modern functionality. Apple added an inner layer of Vectran weave to the band, which is meant to add both strength and stretch resistance. Vectran is the same material used by NASA in the landing airbags of the Mars rover spacecraft.
