The Replacement Foot for Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens from Kirk slides directly into the lens collar mount and locks into place by tightening the locking knob. The lens foot is compatible with most Arca-type clamps and ball and gimbal heads. The double-dovetail design allows other Arca-type accessories to attach to the bottom or the top of the foot. The foot also allows the lens hood to mount in the reverse without bumping into it, for storage. The 6061-T6 aluminum foot has a black anodized finish, which makes it resistant against scratches and corrosion. In addition, safety stops located on the bottom of the foot prevent the lens from accidentally being pulled when the clamp is partially open.

Kirk LP-68 Reviews
Does the job
It is unfortunate that Sony puts useless lens feet onto their telephoto lenses; most of the world uses Arca Swiss compatible mounting rails and the stock lens foot should provide this. Nevertheless, there are a variety of 3rd party lens feet that do a great job. I was never happy using lens plates screwed to the bottom of the stock lens foot; they add height and also have the risk of becoming loose. The Kirk replacement lens foot is well made, provides a solid Arca Swiss rail as well as a QD socket and other threaded attachment points.
Expensive, but it works
Shame on Sony for not having their tripod feet be Arca compatible, but the Kirk replacement foot works just great. It's long enough that I can balance my 200-600 fore/aft on my tripod so that the weight is centered over the ballhead and is also comfortable to use as a carry handle.
