will this work for my canon 5d mark iv with ...
will this work for my canon 5d mark iv with 24-70mm lens? do i need something else or does it screw right into the base of the camera?
I use it with my Panasonic GH4 or GH5 cameras with an extra battery pack on the bottom with basically the same size lens and what you are using. The tripod and the 492 ball head don’t raise the camera very high so I actually bought the extension stem for it. So when I am using it on a tabletop it’s pedestaled up closer to eye level. I use it as a webcam (and iso record) for web streams. The tripod legs don’t spread very wide so I tack them down with a little gaff tape just so it doesn’t topple if the table or desk gets bumped. It’s worked out well and packs up nicely in its little case.
