Yes, you can use the Shure BLX288/B58 Dual-Channel Wireless Handheld Microphone System with Beta 58A Capsules and your older Shure BLX series wireless microphone system at the same time. It doesn't matter whether the two systems operate on different frequency bands or if they both are on the same band. Since the BLX series system has 123 individual frequencies within the band, up to 12 BLX series systems that operate on the same band can be used at the same time within a 300 foot range without any problems.

Can I stack multiple of these units? Thanks!

Can I stack multiple of these units? Thanks!
Asked by: Bart
Shure does not recommend stacking multiple BLX88 and BLX4 receivers on top of each other since the antennas are built into the casing. You may want to consider the BLX4R receivers instead since this model has external antennas and multiple receivers can be easily rackmounted and stacked on top of each other without blocking the signal from going to the antennas.
