Better than the original

The original microphone clip that came with my Sennheiser had a hard plexiglass portion to hold the mic. It also had a slider to lock the microphone to the clip which a roadie broke the first time he forced the mic from the stand. This new clip doesn't need a locker and it's construction is not as fragile as the original. It just works better.

I've loved my MD441s since the 70s but the original holders quickly failed. I've since gone through several cheap hard-plastic generic mic clips which don't grip the mics well and/or break.This MZQ441 is soft, high-friction plastic that's gradually angled to grip the 441 tightly. Pricey, but cheaper than watching your $ 441 fall to the floor.

Is the clip tapped for US 5/8-27 or EU 3/8-16 thread mount? Is there any adapter provided?
it has the standard threads and works on all my mic stands and as well comes with an adapter for smaller thread - don't know the numbers
