Rotatrim Pro18 Overview

This Pro Series 18" Paper Cutter / Rotary Trimmer from Rotatrim measures 26.8 x 19.3 x 6.3" and can comfortably cut flexible materials up to 18" long and up to 3mm thick. It can accommodate an A3 landscape paper size and features twin stainless steel guides that eliminate head swivel as well as a laminate grid baseboard with crosshair paper size guides.

Together, the 1" thick baseboard and 0.83" edging strip help maximize stability and durability. The Pro Series 18" Paper Cutter / Rotary Trimmer also features a cut capacity of up to 0.13" and requires no material thickness adjustments.

This Is A Good Cutter; It Cuts Cleanly Everything From 48 Gsm Japanese Paper To 2-ply Museum Board. I Tried It On 4-ply Board As Well, Which It Did Cut But Not As Easily. I Am Able To Trim Prints Accurately, But I Wish There Was Some Easier Way To Be Sure The Exact Edge Of The Image Is Aligned With The Metal Edge Where The Blade Runs. Everything Seems Square, And The Printed Measurements Are Accurate. It's Easier To Use Than A Ruler And Blade Because You Don't Have To Worry About The Print Or Ruler Slipping.

I have been relying on a clunky old guillotine trimmer for years, and finally decided to invest in a rotary trimmer. After doing a little research, I opted for the 18 Rotatrim Pro Series. It's precise, ridiculously smooth, and the grids on the base make it super easy to cut multiple copies with the exact same specifications. I highly recommend this item. I would've given it 5 stars, but it was packaged with styrofoam. Companies need to stop using packing materials that aren't recyclable or biodegradable.
