Exposure Modes: Is there a manual mode to set exposures?
If you use "P" (program) mode, you can compensate from -2 to 2 EV. Unlike other frequently-used controls, like WB and Mode Selection, which require tree-traversal, you can adjust exposure comp from the main screen---once you're in "P" mode. Once you select a value, it persists until you change or cancel it.

Did Fuji fix the problem of the LCD display polarization in the new XP 140 model? The XP 130 had a problem with the screen being polarized such that it could not be viewed while wearing polarized sunglasses, when holding the camera in horizontal position (in other words, the polarization of the display screen was off by 90 degrees). For someone who wears prescription polarized sunglasses outdoors and on the water, this design flaw renders the XP series useless. Did Fuji finally fix that?
According to the MFR the XP140 has the same screen as the XP130.
