Yamaha SR-B20A Reviews

Upgrade over TV speakers

It's an upgrade over my TV speakers. I find myself putting the soundbar in the stereo mode, and turning off 3D surround, clear voice, and bass extension. About the only time I might want any of the enhancements is when watching sports. For the most part it sounds great. The upper bass/lower midrange is perhaps a bit pronounced. Especially lower octave female voices can sometimes sound a bit boomy or muddy. Overall I'd recommend it.

Simple and the Great Sound is a Bonus

Bought this for one reason. It's simple. No internet, no app's necessary, no Alexis or any of the other overblown technology. Plug and play. It works and as a bonus, it sounds great. Separate bass volume is great, the voice enhancement is a great feature and the display lets you know what the setting is. Buy it and avoid the overblown versions at twice the price (or more). Once again, Yamaha does the job and does it well.

Can I plug this to 220v?
Asked by: Pablo
I am afraid not. This is a 120V AC/60Hz device only.
