SKB 1510-6 Overview

This black iSeries Case from SKB features a foam interior that is custom cut to hold your Canon XA11, XA15, XA40, XA45, XA60, or XA65 camera. Dedicated slots hold the camera body, the power supply, two BP-820/828 batteries, two memory cards, and more. This injection-molded case is made of polypropylene copolymer resin and is gasketed, submersible (MIL-C-4150J), dust and waterproof. The case is also resistant to UV, solvents, corrosion, fungus, and impact damage.

Molded-in hinges and trigger release latches boost the security of the case and the comfortable rubber over-molded cushion-grip handle folds up or down for convenient carrying or storage. A built-in automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C) enables safe air travel.

Holds my Z6 mounted with a FTZ and Sigma 150-600mm, as well as my 24-70mm F/4, 16-28mm f/2.8, Sennheiser microphone and 50mm f/1.8 with no problem.

The Canon XA70 is a larger camera that may not fit properly in the SKB iSeries Case for Canon XA11/15/40/45/60/65 & Accessories.

Would this case hold a G50, being that the G50 is basically a XA40 without the handle?

The Canon G50 will fit in this case, however, it will not be as effective at protecting the camera. The excess space (for the top handle) gives the camera room to move around inside the case. If you plan to use this for keeping your camcorder organized then this case will work very well. All of the accessories are the same for both camcorders (except audio).

Is the SKB 1510-6 (with lid organizer) deep enough to close easily on a Nikon D7100 with battery grip and an Arca quick-release plate attached? Thanks!

I bought this case, and it is very good. I use it with a Nikon D7100 body, and Nikon 12-24, 18-140 and 70-300 lenses, a Panasonic LX7 compact and Lumix TS6, and various small accessories. To close the lid I do have to remove the D7100's battery grip with the attached Arca plate, but both store in their own section easily with extra batteries. No flash unit. So it is just right for my gear.
