SanDisk Extreme V2 External SSD Reviews
WESTERN DIGITAL IS JUST THE BEST! B&H HAD THE BEST PRICE
I don't use any backup disks that aren't manufactured by Western Digital. Data is too precious to take a chance on losing it. Don't ask me how I know. I usually get my drives directly from WD, but B&H's price was too good to pass up. And the quick service was fabulous, I had my drive in just a couple of days. It's performing flawlessly on my iMac.
Small, light weight storage
I use this to store my photos. Decided to upgrade to SSD along with my new laptop with Thunderbolt interface. This drive works great to store my photos and edit with Lightroom.
So far very good
I have been migrating my photos off HDD to SDD and needed another lots more space and have bought 2 of these and they are working very well, fast and so far relatable.
A great product
This is my 4th Sandisk 2TB unit. All four work great and were easy to format for Mac. The only problem with this unit is that the carabiner was missing.
New Go-To for 4k Edits
After months of getting thrown in pelicans and backpacks, this guy is very reliable and speedy for 4k edits. Game-changer for offloading footage so DP's can get their media back as well.
Fast and small
It was time to retire my old backup drives that had spinning hard disks and took half a way to back up my computer. This one takes only 15min, and fits in your shirt pocket. Only small issue is that it runs quite hot while backing up.
Small & mighty
I'm slowly changing over all my HDD's to this particular SSD. For price and performance you can't beat it. My only tip is to look out for sales, which are frequent.
Very compact and good speed. Runs a lot warmer than I expected even when just sitting idle.
