New one works great. Original one should not have failed after a dozen uses.

Did not have it more than a few weeks as of this writing. Like the feel when handling. They seem robust enough to endure handling. Typically these kinds of cables break internal wires where they endure lots of bending. I got two knowing if I want one too insures I'll have working one when needed.
