MSI B550M-A PRO Overview

Designed to streamline assembly time, MSI allows you to focus on components that will enhance workload efficiency. The B550M-A Pro is ideal for the DIY users who wish to replace older out-of-date motherboards or enjoy building from scratch.

Based upon AMD B550 chipset architecture, the B550M-A Pro's AM4 socket allows you to install third-generation Ryzen and Ryzen 4000 G-series processors. Two dual-channel memory slots allow you to take advantage of DDR4 memory modules with speeds up to 4600 MHz. You can connect several hard drives with four SATA III and one M.2 port for enhanced program loading and increasing overall performance. Install graphics, sound, or networking cards with one PCIe 4.0 x16 and one PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. An RJ45 port is also available for wired internet connectivity, and with 7.1-channel high-definition audio, you can experience a wide range of entertainment. This motherboard is only compatible with Windows 10 (64-bit) operating systems.

Whether you are a seasoned or amateur builder, the B550M-A Pro is designed for simplicity and durability, giving you all the tools you need to put together a PC optimized for your business level needs. Steel armor PCIe slots are reinforced with heavy soldered connections to prevent bending along with an XL clip for easy device swapping. Double ESD protection prevents shorts by adding another grounding layer to mounting holes. The foundation of this board is built on 2oz thickened copper printed circuit boards with for increased durability and conductivity between components. Core Boost, DDR4 Boost, and Lightning Gen 4 all work together to provide better stability during increased workloads while also maximizing transfer-speed bandwidth. Enrich your media experience with MSI's Audio Boost and 4K support, providing clear visuals and crisp sound.

Giving you total fan control, overclock settings, and hardware monitoring, you can fine-tune your experience depending on your needs.
